…And none of them notice the spellbook on the ground.
After, people just left books lying everywhere, since books were so cheap back before the printing press came in and jacked up the price.
The old Crones’ eye sight isn’t so good, Marscaleb. They focused on the “lazy” boy and piece of silver hiding behind his back. But Ol’ Matil started putting it together at the end here.
OK, the artwork is excellent. The story … is a bit too depressing for me.
As you’re already in that general area I suggest including one or more of the following tragic-opera-approved plot devices.
* Main character accidentally marries / kills a close relative.
* Main character cursed and/or turned mad by the gods.
* A dreadful prophecy that comes about despite / because of the efforts made to avoid it.
* Everybody dies in a huge fire / flood.
Tiffany and Venner, thanks for your comments. Glad you dig it.
Good news, I just got 4 new pages of layouts from Koko Amboro, with more coming soon. So after taking a break to work on an important project, he’s back on TOTD. I don’t wan to announce a return date until I’m positive I can update uninterrupted for an extended time frame…but do not worry, there’s plenty more to come, and the next scene is one of my favorites.

Thanks for your comments on my comics. Appreciate you giving them a thorough read.
If you’ve made it this far in Tears of the Dragon, I hope you’ll stick with us. The action really picks up, and things start paying off.
The story is already written and is one I’ve been working on for a decade, so it’s too late for me to toss in an approved trope or two.
I’m telling the story I want to tell, and I’m confident there are enough twists, turns, and fun moments that readers are going to enjoy it.
Hope you’re one of them.
is this going to update?
I LOVE the story still waiting on update.
This is a great story, i love the way everything is done so far… i just wish it would continue

Thanks for the update!
THANKS I really really like the story even if I think the human king deserves what’s coming to him..
I agree
What’s happened to this webcomic?
at this point I’m assuming this is never updating again…
Sorry again about the long hiatus…
I assure you, updates are coming. I want to make sure I stockpile enough of them, so that we can update uninterrupted for a nice long while.
